Memebox collab with CutiePieMarzia!

Herro Kittens!

Yesturday was a mail day! I was super excited, first mail I've decided to talk about is the 'Memebox'! And not just ANY Memebox, this one was a collaboration with Marzia, "CutiePieMarzia" on Youtube. She is one 100% cute little lady, and a horror fan, so a woman after my dreams! I know, I know, she is taken! :P SO I actually had been scowering 'Memeboxes' website and noticed that they had this box available, I went straight to Marzia's youtube to see what she had to say about it, but there was nothing mentioned, confused, I of course ordered it, a day or two later, she had a video about it! Linked....here! I was so happy I found it before it was advertised else where because they sold out fast...as one could only imagine. So here we go! getting into the box!

Cutest box...
then....
This is what you see right after opening the box.

There are two cards, front and back, a little info about Marzia, and then info about and how to use these products, Since Memebox is a Korean beauty box, all the products have Korean written on them, So they have it translated in english :) I guess I could say a little more about Memebox in general, they are not a monthly subscription box, it's just a website where they have multiple different types, kinds, sizes of boxes, and one can order these boxes, they all have different shipping dates and so on.

So the first product I pulled out was the "It's Skin Baby face Essence" I have used it by itself before my moisturizer as a serum type product, but it's also good for adding illumination to your face, you can mix it in with your BB cream or foundation as well. Like it, and of course cute packaging!

Next! Another "It's Skin" product,
This one is the "Babyface One-Step Base" in lavender pink. As a base lavender shades are always good for brightening up dull skin. Always a winner in my books! To me it smells like green apples or something around those lines, hah. I have tried a few different Korean products like Tony Moly, Skin79, Etude House, Missha BB cream, Holika Holika and Skin Food, but I had never tried any of the Ìt`s Skin` products. So all in all I was happy to see these items! And shall continue to enjoy them!

Next Puppy is...

`L.vida` Nail polish, in this gorgeous coral colour. And the little white rose with the packaging is super cute!!! It can also be used as a ring as well! On my nail I just did one coat, so It`s a nice and pigmented! Two coats would be perfect.

This one is a little strange, but oh well! It`s a Gelee face mask, and it looks like jam, I have yet to try it but when I do, I will definitely have a few more words to say about this one!

And probably my favorite out of the box! This is a `Petit Friend Tint Balm` There are two different shades in this, the more transparent red shade, which just gives a tiny red addition to your lip color, then my favorite! The crown on the inside is a gorgeous gorgeous cool toned pink tint, that has a lot of pigment to it, as you can see on my finger. Where them separate or mixed together! Either way this product smells divine! I can`t tell it this product makes my lips feel a bit dry, or if it`s a plumping agent, but I love it so much there`s nothing lip conditioner underneath can`t handle! And the smell is absolutely yummy!!! LOVE this tint balm!

And the last guy in the box is,

This FREAKIN adorable Special Edition Snow White Eyeliner set! You get five waterproof gel liners in the cute case, and they also put in a pencil sharpener. The shades are all glittery, and there is a black, brown, bronze, gold and beige for my(and your:P) enjoyment!

I am quite excited for ALL of these products picked by the lovely Marzia! And a big thank you to Memebox for recognizing how awesome she is!

There`s that bit of my thought`s out and shared to the world!
Check out Memebox to try awesome Korean products, I do believe they are always pretty much full sized products. Which is amazing!

Thanks for reading kittens!

Glambot!!!!

GLAMBOT!!!

Okay kittens, your asking me now, "what is Glambot?" Well, 'Glambot' is a website that is kind of like a buy and sell used high end make up. On the site it will say a product is 100%-80% full, 70%-50% full, and so on...letting you know how much product is in it. So people can send in their make up that was maybe the wrong color for them( and didn't exchange it at the store, maybe?) No idea really, but then glambot's bot's will go through a 6 step sanitation process, and before that an authenticity process, to determine if they are real, if they are real they buy the product from the person who sent the product in and then they sell it on their website. A good way to test out some products or just further grow a make up lovers collection at a better price. Some people may say that is gross, but what kills germies? Alcohol! So even though I am sure the website does it with their pressed shadows, powders and so on already, I did in fact spray 70% alcohol on to my pressed powder purchase. You can also fix broken pressed shadows or powders with 70% alcohol as well, which if any one is interested in that, comment on this post that you would be interested in a blog post about that! I saw many good reviews on this website before I went and purchased my items, and felt I could try this site out!

So, when you sign up, on your first purchase you get 40% off the purchase! what?!?! the prices are already great by themselves, and then they go and do that. They get new things in all the time as well, so it's good to check back often.

So here we go!

Just like the Ipsy bag, Glambot sends out the products in a bubble wrap bag, a silver bag with caution tape type stickers. Pretty interesting if I do say so myself!
First thing I saw were free samples, which I did not expect at all, so go Glambot! Who doesn't like free samples. So the ones I had received were 'La fresh' one is a nail polish remover wipe, and the other is a waterproof make up remover wipe. They are a travel wipes company, I have heard of before through Ipsy but never tried them, I like wipes in general, so I'm excited for that! And then another wipe that is a cleansing and make up removing wipe.
And some little pad things...ahaha they are to exfoliate your face with, dampen and then use with water alone, or with a cleanser as well, and use in circular motions.
So first off, glambot packages everything super amazingly, double bubble wrapping your products. I got the Sheer loose powder by MAC in NC15, I'm pale, I know it. As you can see in the pictures, Glambot puts a seal sticker on the product after they have gone through their sanitation process, and a seal over top of the sifter as well.

This particular product was at the 100%-80% fill on the website, and I would have to agree as you can see in the photo above.  The other item I got was The Mac Prep and Prime Pressed Powder in translucent.

Again, Glambot`s seal, Can you see my eye creepin on you all?!?! haha. They put a brand new little make up sponge I do not usually use, but still!
I put the photo's in backwards, but I know you all understand, the bleach from bleaching my hair can seep into my head too deep sometimes. Then they also include a card with a code for $5.00 off your next purchase! It took approximately a week for the package to get to me, which is pretty good to me, coming from California. No complaints, just praise, LOVE #Glambot !

Thanks for reading kittens! I know sometimes its easier to just watch a youtube video, but I appriciate you reading through all my incorrect grammer and spelling, *Michelle, this mean you, and the notice of my "colour" "color" spelling.* Comment, love and request!
Have a good evening!!

IPSY August 2014!

Hello my kittens!!!

I'm reviewing the products I got in my Ipsy Glam bag!
Ipsy is a beauty subscription bag that arrives monthly at your door! Or in a mail box/post box that you have a key for :P Either way every month you can get 4-5 deluxe samples, to full size products mailed right to you, there is a quiz to help further determine your likes, and every month you can review products which will again, further help the ipsy crew determine what you like. By reviewing products you will also collect ipsy points, getting point will allow an ipsy subscriber to get an extra additional item in their monthly bag! Pretty neat stuff!!! I get pretty excited for beauty subscriptions... haha. So for the States the bag is $10.00 with shipping, for us AWESOME Canadian subscribers they have us pay for the shipping, fine, what ever, so it works out to be $17.00 a month. Every bag is well over the worth for the $10.00, sometimes the items are just sample sizes, or deluxe, so they would technically be free from that company or brand with a purchase, this way with out committing to the product to get a sample, try them out and fall in love! Or pass it on to a friend you know will like it! As I have done with some products I got in my first months, after reviewing products I seem to be getting things I like a lot more.

I will link my referral code here :  'Hug a kitten!'

And let's get into it!

Firstly, your bag will arrive like this! Pink, Bubble wrap!
Inside your pink bubble wrap, there will be a card, which talks about the theme, and ways to enter contests on the website( where you review products, to get points and so on) You always will receive the products in a re-usable make up bag, different every month, some cute, and some meh maybe not so cute to your personal taste. This August bag's theme is "Beauty Schooled" So this bag is more plastic like material that's more like a pencil case type look goin on. I actually like this one this month. I have been subscribed since February 2014, in case any one is pondering. And on the inside!

Top picture's item is a 'Jersey Shore Sun Mongongo Lip Conditioner' It claims to be a anti-aging lip conditioner. It retails on the website for $5.50. I do like the way this product makes my lips feel, yet, the smell...I don't agree with this smell, so after putting it on and walking around with that smell right under my nose, I just wiped it off, maybe if i put a yummy smelling lip gloss over top, such as Nyx's butter gloss, it could mask it? And I can then get my anti-aging lip effects!!! :P

Next! Bottom left hand corner, 'Free Your Mane, Reviving Spray' Full size of this product retails for $15.00 for 6.08oz. The deluxe sample size is .02oz. I'm sorry for the oz. reference, it's what the site gives me most! This product I'm iffy on, I didn't notice any difference to my mane, and not that this takes away from the product but mine was leaking all over my bag :( and other products inside the bag, which I easily wiped off of course.

Bottom right hand corner we have a 'Manna Kadar Sheer Glo' This can be used mixed in with foundation for a illuminating glow for a dewy finish, or just used as a highlight. The deluxe sample size is 0.27oz. Full size on the website is $29.00 and I can not seem to find the size. I like this product just fine, I usually tend to use powder highlights, but i can switch it up some days for sure.

To the left, to the left....uhm....hehe, we have a quad shadow set from 'Coastal Scents' I got the shades Peach Puff, Cherry Chocolate, Nude, and White Silver. Super gorgeous colors and great pigmentation. Love Coastal Scents shadows, I do have a review for their 'Revealed Palette' and their 'Revealed 2 Palette' that I will be having up shortly I hope! So yep, love that little sample, they are full sized shadows, but four of them, where Coastal Scents is known to have palettes with 188 colors and so on. Palettes range in prices depending on sizes, or sale, can be $4.95-$20.95 or other prices too I'm sure!

Last one, I was super excited to try, and tryed it this morning, and LOVED it. Is 'Urban Decays Perversion Mascara' The sample size is .01oz. and the full size is .04oz and retails for $22.00 on their website, but at 'Sephora' it is $26.00, and currently their is a deal that you get their primer and the mascara for those prices.  Still I love this Mascara, I am pretty in love with the 'Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara' as I said with the 'Tarte mascara's' review, so I pair the Urban Decay one with the Too Faced one and I think I have found my perfect mascara duo! It's a standard mascara wand brush, but I just love it, and that's all that matters to me! I find it lengthening, and volumizing, and the formula is like a flexible texture, doesn't get hard like a few mascara's we all know I am sure, it didn't flake through out the day either, so I'm just finding bonus's.

Tell me your favorite mascara! Or beauty subscription box! I will be doing a 'Memebox' review in the near future too! I have way too many reviews I want to do and am excited for!

Good Night Kittens!!!

Lets talk about.....HAIR DYE

Herro Kitties!

So today is on 'Ion Color Brilliance' in lavender!
I usually use manic panic, and mix in with conditioner to get the pastel color I am going for at that point and time. But I had wanted to try this one out. So it is a deeper color then I would have wanted, but after washes I'm sure it will change. It was a pretty thick consistency, it was a bit hard to apply with the dye brush, way easier with gloved hands.
I only have it underneath my bangs, so here is another picture! I like it pretty well though, it was not patchy, it's vibrant and I think I would give it 4 out of 5 hairs. I think only because I will most likely stick to the manic panic and conditioner, it lasts a whole lot longer doing it that way as well. So for me, that's what I would have to stick with!

I am aware I make great faces in pictures :P
This may be the shortest post I will ever have, I've been feeling a little down lately, so maybe it's clogging my thought process! BUT! I couldn't not write a post tonight. I have so many items to review, and sharing my thoughts and being excited about products can help me out of that funk as well!

If any one has any questions please feel free to comment! I'll appreciate it a ton!

Thanks kittens,
<3 L.

POST TITLE?!?! why have I not seen you before....bleach blonde....

Good Evening kittens!

Tonight I'm going to have a small review, and that review is on the, love of my life liquid eyeliner pen! By that I mean the 'Physicians Formula 2-in-1 Eye Booster Serum'.

Found out through, yet another one of my top ladies on YouTube. And that would be 'Thatlaaya'. That girl is one great girl to watch and get info on anything for us pale ladies. So any ways, the eyeliner is also a lash serum, which I haven't noticed any huge changes to my lashes yet, but I also haven't really been keeping tabs, I got this product for the eyeliner aspect of it, not the serum part. The tip isn't a felt, it's like a ton of tiny little hairs that form the tip, and its always pointy and perfect for thin lines, or building up a thicker line, excellent for winged eyeliner! Which is included in my every day look, So I of course had fallen in love. It wears all day long, no flaking away, the color I get is in "ultra black". Easy to use, if you are a beginner to eyeliner, especially liquid and are a little timid to use, I would ten times over recommend this little man here. Certain drugs stores will have sales on this product, so why not wait until a sale comes on! They alternate brands that are on sale weekly, or sometimes bi-weekly or even sometimes monthly! Here in Canada, I find Shoppers Drug Mart and London Drugs are the one's that will have the sales most.

Comment what your favorite eyeliner is to use! Liquid, gel, pencil, what ever you use, let me know!

Thanks Kittens, Love for all!

Hello Kittens!

Today I will review all the stuff I got from Tarte Cosmetics! I think I've definitely formed some personal opinions and am ready to review the products I got for my birthday!

First one, lets dooooooo.....
this little puppy right here! 'Tarte's Amazonian Clay 12-hour Full Coverage Foundation' After being on the fence with many reviews I had read and a little iffy on the mousy texture I had heard about, I really do love this foundation! First day I wore it a girl told me I had such gorgeous skin, and I was like "Thanks! It's not my skin really though, it's my new foundation! The Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour foundation!" I don't know about 12 hour wear, ONLY because I don't think I have worn it for 12 hours yet, maybe 8 or 9 hours so far, but with those hours I have not had to touch up at all, I don't have the patchy look where some foundations are separating from the skin. I'm pretty darn  thrilled about this product. I will definitely say its full coverage and though I don't have many scars, other then the occasional piercing scar, I do like to have the doll, porcelain type finish, just a personal preference! And I got the shade Ivory, where just for a reference of a few different brands shades, I am definitely the lightest shade in mostly all foundations I've ever tried. So Mac, I'm NC15, Kat Von D I am the sadly discontinued, but! I believe it is being brought back, from what I see on Sephora's website, I am a L42, Revlon color stay I am 110 Ivory. some brands to compare! So I will have to say I have yet to discover a negative about this foundation! I will have to give it a 5 out of 5 butter tartes! <3

Moving right along, we have...
'Tarte's Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation' And I know I started talking about this in the un-boxing post, so I will continue on with that, I don't usually use just a powder foundation by itself, but I did try one side of my face with this, and the other with the 12-hour foundation, and I was super impressed as well, I wasn't too sure on the color, but after buffing the product into my skin a bit more, I liked it a lot, I got fair light neutral. The coverage is definitely build-able, and I would say a medium coverage personally. It wore quiet nicely through out the day and again no touch ups needed! I do have normal/dry skin, so I don't usually have to worry about getting oily, with the sun so hot, sometimes I get the sweat beads, but I have no noticed it being "eaten" away by my sweat, so in my mind, that's a huge bonus! I always find so many reviews for oily skin types, I have had a hard time finding reviews for normal, or dry, or both, I have of course found some, but I just notice way more for oily skin types. Any ways, love this as well, maybe not as much as the 12 hour foundation, but maybe that's because I am not used to using just powder foundations. Still I will have to give this little gem a 5 out of 5 butter tartes as well!

Then we have,
The 'Rain-forest After Dark Limited-edition Colored Clay Eye and Cheek Palette' So I am definitely in love with the blush, which is called 'unleashed' then there is a bronzer, which also doubles as a gorgeous crease color, a highlight shade, and 6 beautiful eye-shadow shades.  The swatches in the picture are just one touch of the shades so pretty pigmented, very build-able as well. With 3 matte and 3 shimmer shades this palette is very versatile, and the cutest packaging, that I know my sister will love. (Hi Michelle!) Love them, no complaints, no fallout easy to apply, great limited edition item for any make-up addicts collection! Again, this may get repetitive, but 5 out of 5 butter tartes!

The mini mascara's!
So the 'MultiplEye Lash Enhancing Primer'  I don't usually do eye primers, I tried one eye with and one eye with out the primer with the Lights, Camera lashes mascara and there was only a small difference, that I could see at least, nothing that a second coat of mascara wouldn't fix! So it's nice to have in the set, but I would give it 3 out of 5 butter tartes.
The 'Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara', I am on board with the hype surrounding this one! I have been in-love with 'Too Faced's Better then Sex Mascara" but this one may have to battle it out for my affection now too, I'll be bouncing back and fourth with who to use, or I can just use both! why not. A good old 5 out of 5 butter tartes is on this one for sure!
'Lights, Cameras, Flashes Statement Mascara' rides in on it's horse as a strong competitor, but I will have to say a second place competitor.. I like the lights, camera, lashes 4-in-1 Mascara more, but only like .5 butter tartes less! So she will receive a 4.5 out of 5 butter tartes from me on this day, August.9.2014.
The Rim Liner! I like, a good water line eyeliner twist up pencil. It's a nice deep black, just how I like my waterline, when I do use eyeliner in my waterline or tight line

Lets make a motion to see the sample I got with the purchase!
So as previously stated on the entry below this one, I have given this sample size to my amazing manager, and she loves me for it, even though we joked how it will cover one foot. (Not really though, we know) So for me I will not be giving this product any butter tartes, well maybe 5 butter tartes for free samples :)

Alright, so that's my thoughts on these products and how they worked for me. As always, would love to hear any personal opinions on any of these products, as well of any that I should try!
Thanks Kittens!

Thursday, 7 August 2014

Alright, alright, one more for tonight, this will just be kind of a small un-boxing blog, just with what the products are and a picture of them, then I will do a more detailed blog about each product and how I like them, but I only got the package today in the mail so I need to play with them more! So for my birthday, the boyfriend didn't know what to get me because I am constantly online looking at make-up, something he obviously wants to stay clueless about(except I am thinking I could maybe con him into doing one of those "my boyfriend does my make up" type dealies and have a photo of the finished product and during the experiment. So he tells me a dollar amount and says I can go  nuts and get something for my birthday. Done! of course :P
So I decided to do one of my favorite YouTube stars, Bunny's (Grav3yardgirl) top mentioned brand, and that being Tarte Cosmetics. It shipped crazy fast, I was super excited, love tracking packages so much! ha! what a loser.......
._____________.

OKAY.

inserting photo....now!
And okay, I may be behind with the times, or sometimes I'm just super cautious and research so much before I get a product, but, I have never tried any of these before today.... like I said, behind with the times. Still, super excited! and, so as you can see with your own eyeballs, top left picture is the tissue paper with "tarte" written all over it, to the right of the tissue paper, we have all the products in the box, as I saw it before me, also, to the very right of this photo there is my free sample from Tarte, I picked to try out the 'Braziliance Self Tanner,' which to be honest, I am so pale(and love every moment of it) I ideally chose to get this for my manager at work, Jamie, if you read this Jamie before I see you again, YOUR WELCOME! :P
And continuing on...
middle left picture is the 'Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation', I got fair light neutral, I was skeptical on which shade to get, and when I put it on I was a little iffy, but after I was quite thrilled, and this is sounding more like a review right now, and I'm saving that for later!
And for the picture on the middle right I got the 'Rain-forest After Dark Limited Edition Colored Clay Eye and Cheek Palette'. and with these LONG names, I am super glad I don't have a you tube channel....for now....
.______________.
Bottom left photo is a sample size pack with the 'MultiplEYE lash enhancing primer' , 'Lights, Camera's Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara' , 'Lights,Camera Flashes Statement Mascara' and then...there is also an eyeliner in the set as well, which I could not find on the website either. I did not just link the pack itself on the website, cause I am kind of pondering that it has been sold out now.
And then we have the bottom right photo, of the well known, well raved about 'Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation' excellent! Next will be reviews after I play a bit more and get a chance to use all the products, but I must say, I know can believe all the hype about Tarte....that blush....AMAZINGGGGG. Love the color on my pale skin tone too.
I also did want to mention my birthday is on August long weekend, so many brands were having 'Friends and family' discount codes and so on, so I did get 40% off of my whole purchase, and for Canadians, shipping is free when you spend $75.00.
Thanks Kittens!
<3 L

Again I would love to hear other personal views on any of these products, or any products that I should try. So leave me a comment :)

Hello Every Pony!
( Thank you Applejack from my little pony, for that amazing opening.)
For my first review, I have decided to do some Korean products, awhile back I went a little crazy on the Korean brand train and would research as much as I could and then go nuts on ebay. So with out further a due, Tony Moly's Egg Pore collection!
So as you can see from the picture above, there are three different eggs, the first white egg being a 'Blackhead Out Oil Gel' I have yet to have real bad to many black heads, but, for one the packaging is way too cute to pass up, and my addictions had me needing all three, it has fine beads in it, so you can never go wrong with having a gentle scrub anyways! It has a decently pleasant scent, a citrus type smell, more on the lemon side, then orange or grapefruit. With the oil gel, I definitely find  my skin feeling soft and smooth after use. I have normal/dry skin can be quiet sensitive to some products and this did not break me out, so positives all around for myself personally. With out knowing how well it works for black heads, from not having any/many I would say I would give this product 4 out of 5 eggs, and a 4 just because I would love to know if it helps slip blackheads out.

The second egg! Is a 'Tightening Pack' So it's more of a pore tightening mask, so after using the 'Blackhead out oil Gel' with warm water your pores will be open, using the mask after will "tighten" your pores, as the name says. I do find my face feels pretty tight after using the mask, insuring my pores would be closed I presume. It is much like a clay mask where you wait 10-15 minutes with the mask on your face and when it dries, you will notice the texture and color change, and know when it is time to wash off. Rinsing this product off takes more effort with out a damp warm wash cloth, so I highly recommend using one opposed to just warm water and your hands. Like the first egg I would say this is also 4 out of 5 eggs. Just on the account my skin is sometimes dry so the tight feeling has me running for the moisturizer.
Wooo, we made it! The third egg! The 'Silky Smooth Balm' is basically a primer for your face, It has a silicone constancy, a pleasant smell and over all I really like this egg the most. I find my foundation goes on very smoothly and evenly with this product on underneath, Filling in any pores or fine lines, or in my case scars from piercings, the balm helps my make up stay on all day, this little egg, I give 5 out of 5 eggs on.
I Thank you all a bunchies for clicking this page and reading my thoughts! I would love to hear any feedback from your personal thoughts on these products I review and even suggestions of products I should try out, I love tracking down new products to try out!
Thanks Kittens!

Sunday, 3 August 2014

Hi everyone!
Starting up a make up review blog! Cause you know, it hasn't been done before, these will all be my personal opinions, I have not been paid to say I like a product if I do not like it.
But wait! Theres more!!! yes, I am a little addicted to make up and want to try it all!!! ALL! haha, BUT, I have called my blog Lulu Loves because I will sometimes throw out there some posts about other random things that come up in my life, where I so deem it absolutely necessary to make it everyone else's business! Strange I know,

Well to start off, maybe introduce myself! My name is Lauren, but in high school I was nick named Lu, i liked it so it stuck. I then forever told people while introducing myself said, "Lu, like the toilets in England" I do bleach my hair blonde, so there could be a reason why some of the things I say are a little different....strange.....and so on! I do have a few subscription boxes which I will probably review as well, share my personal thoughts and so on about the items that are received! I do purchase them all myself as well, which could be why I am always broke, Bad habits.

Tomorrow is my birthday, feel free to comment wishing me a Happy Birthday if any one so decides to read this! For now, I leave you with this adorable little picture.

Meet Bobbin, the prettiest little girl in my life.

Thanks for visiting!!
Come again soon.
